What this policy covers

Enerlytics provides energy market intelligence products, dashboards, marketing sites, waitlists, and related services. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you when you use our websites, applications, social experiences, and related services.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, company, billing details, waitlist submissions, support messages, and any account information you choose to share.

We also collect technical and usage information such as device, browser, IP address, approximate location, pages viewed, feature usage, referrers, and interaction events so we can operate, secure, and improve the service.

  • Account and profile details you submit through sign-up, login, checkout, or support flows.
  • Payment and subscription details processed through billing providers such as Stripe.
  • Authentication and identity-provider details when you sign in with Google, Microsoft, work-email verification, or similar login methods.
  • Notification setup data such as email verification state, Slack webhook metadata, phone verification status, browser push subscription endpoints, and device-level notification preferences.
  • API usage data such as key ownership, endpoint usage, scopes, plan entitlements, request metadata, and abuse-prevention logs.
  • Usage, diagnostics, cookies, and analytics data generated when you browse our sites or use the product.
  • Content you submit to assistants, forms, or waitlists, including messages used to respond to you or improve the product experience.

How we use information

  • Provide, maintain, and secure the Enerlytics platform and marketing sites.
  • Authenticate users, manage subscriptions, and process payments.
  • Respond to support requests, sales inquiries, and waitlist submissions.
  • Analyze usage trends, diagnose issues, and improve product performance and content.
  • Operate AI-powered features and internal workflows used to summarize, classify, or draft content on your behalf.
  • Send product notifications, verification messages, browser push alerts, onboarding emails, and account-security notices based on your preferences and account state.
  • Detect fraud, abuse, licensing violations, and unauthorized access to the service or API.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

How information is shared

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us operate the business, such as cloud hosting, analytics, payments, communications, customer support, notification vendors, identity providers, and AI infrastructure vendors.

We may also share information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets.

  • Cloud and infrastructure providers used to host the application and store data.
  • Payment, billing, and fraud-prevention providers.
  • Email, SMS, browser push, and collaboration providers used to deliver notifications you enable.
  • Analytics, logging, and error-monitoring providers used to improve reliability and security.
  • AI and automation providers used to power assistant-style features and internal workflows.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep sessions active, remember preferences, understand traffic, measure performance, and improve the product and marketing experience. You can manage cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not function properly if certain cookies are disabled.

Communications and notifications

If you enable product notifications, we may store the channel details and delivery state needed to operate them, such as email verification timestamps, phone verification codes and expiry windows, Slack webhook test status, or browser push subscription records tied to a device or browser.

Notification permissions may be browser-specific or device-specific. Removing a notification subscription on one device does not automatically remove it from another device signed into the same account.

Data retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, comply with legal requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

How we protect data

  • We use access controls, environment-specific secrets, logging, and operational safeguards designed to reduce unauthorized access.
  • We limit internal access to information based on role and operational need.
  • We may retain audit logs, notification-delivery logs, and API-access logs for security, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting.

Your choices

  • You may request access, correction, or deletion of certain personal information, subject to legal and operational limitations.
  • You may opt out of non-essential marketing communications by using unsubscribe links or contacting us directly.
  • You may manage notification preferences, browser-alert permissions, and certain account settings directly within the product.
  • You may choose not to provide certain information, though that may limit access to parts of the service.
